WELCOME

AURORA TOWER cocktail bar and restaurant, set in a land of outstanding beauty right on the sea and just underneath the Cappuccini’s hill, separates Fegina’s area from the Ancient Village. The original Tower was built around the year 1000 in order to fight back pirates’ attacks. In the second half of the XIII century it was annexed to the Republic of Genoa’s property and fortified so as to oppose resistance to barbarians’ and Pisans' incursions. Later on the Tower was transformed into a private property and open to the public in 2017. To this date the tower’s upstairs floors are of private use only therefore not to be visited.

Elia Bellingeri, the young owner of Aurora Tower, has brought to life a unique restaurant, in a strategic spot of historical value, boasting a breathtaking view over Monterosso’s Gulf and in particular over all the "Cinque Terre", without spoiling the beauty of Aurora’s ancient tower and taking care of every single detail from interior designing to the choice of menus.

Deep in the heart of the 5Terre Park and set right inside a medioeval monument surrounded by wonderful terraces, AURORA TOWER cocktail bar and restaurant has a breathtaking view dominating all its gulf.

Great care and attention to every single detail are behind the idea which started us into developing a project to say the least ambitious, in that to reconcile such an historical site to the restaurant new heritage with such elegance and lightness is definetely not an easy task.

Torre Aurora is a unique venue all around the world thanks to the harmony found in all its elements, from the general atmosphere with its sparkly vibes to the choice of furnishings, from the renovation process with its care for the environment to the high quality of its services.

CURIOUS FACTS

The music permeating our gardens, a delighting backdrop to your chilling out time, has been selected from a private best hits collection made up of 100% guaranteed Italian original records dating back to the sixties and from a smashing array of international jazz pieces.
Some of our dishes are served inside artisanal plates and glasses which are designed, produced and hand painted by the Art Factory " Monterosso ".
Moreover some dishes signed especially by our Chef are prepared using Km. 0 products which are sourced directly from the Eco-Friendly Farm " Targa Agnese ", in the Vara's Valley, the latter offering exclusively seasonal and organic products.
